INTRODUCTION 

 

This package as well as the newly introduced TYPO3 Virtual Appliances contain the pre-requisites for installation and operation of TYPO3 4.6.4 itself on Linux/Unix Systems. 

The auto-install package has been designed to install from source-tarballs in order to make it platform independant and without limitation to a given distribution.

 

This file installs the packages that are likely to cause you frustration if you try to do it yourself. It will avoid installing packages that are easy to install 

or probably already installed. Please make sure to read the WARNING (see menu) as installation of the script might interfear with your installed MySQL configuration and data!
